Projects of Laws for MCS Recognition in Italy

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is a physical illness that causes reactions to several chemicals at very low dose. MCS sufferers react with asthma, rhynitis, vertigo, headache, tinnitus, stomacache, eye rash and even seizures to several chemicals such as fragrances, pesticides, printed papers, toner, plastics, tar, fresh paint, particleboard, smog, industrial fumes, etc.

At the Italian Parliament there are several project of laws to help people with chemical sensitivity that is an "environmental disability" such as a "physical disability" since MCS sufferers can not enter into a public place, not even into a hospital because of the household cleaning profucts, the fragrances used by other people, etc.
